HIATRONICS (a Div. of Programmable Equipment Co.) provides a new type of test executive content management system (CMS) called Hiatronic Development Suite which is used to automate test stands and industrial equipment.
Using our software, developers can easily create new applications with little training by simply filling out forms, in order to construct an object model. This object model can then be easily manipulated within Microsoft’s Visual Studio Tools for Applications (VSTA) using the Visual Basic .NET programming language.
We currently provide our software on a per client basis. You can contact us by phone or email and we will gladly send a free Hiatronic Development Suite 2011 installation DVD. This DVD allows you to try the software for 30 days, before requiring a software key. |

We have created instructional videos which demonstrate how to create a complete application with Hiatronic Development Suite 2011. These videos should provide a good feel for the software. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in using HDS for your automation project.
1 Breathing Regulator Test Stand (Project overview and discussion of the pneumatic diagram)
2a Breathing Regulator Test Stand (Start the project and create an object model's DAQ board, and instrument & calibration objects)
2b Breathing Regulator Test Stand (Adding actuators, switches, and PIDs)
3a Breathing Regulator Test Stand (Review of the project thus far, and creation of the 'outlet pressure test' task object, and the VSTA macro)

Hiatronic Development Suite 2011 is used to program industrial equipment and test stands using a unique / cutting edge approach.
As first step create a powerful object model (which is a virtual model of your physical system) by filling out forms. Then simply manipulate the object model using Visual Basic .Net within Microsoft’s Visual Studio Tools for Applications (VSTA).
You can easily create powerful applications in no time at all, and reduce your task sequences to a few pages of easily understandable code.

|
We have strong software and system control engineering expertise and can assist in all levels of your project. We can even work with you to develop your applications.
Because Hiatronic Development Suite 2011 is a content management system (CMS) and all project parameters are available within forms, you can easily start working on your project where we left off.

This tutorial demonstrates how to create a basic hardware configured project. This project starts from scratch and first adds a data acquisition (DAQ) board object, then instruments, an actuator, and switches which are then wired to channels within the DAQ board object. Next a proportional integral derivative (PID) object is made in order to create a closed loop control. This PID object is then tuned while controlling a physical DAQ board.
This tutorial starts from scratch, thus there is no initial project provided.

This tutorial demonstrates how to create a basic test configured project. This project starts where the 0001 tutorial left off and adds a new test called Flow Test to the existing project. Within t he new test the video shows how to add instructions, errors, and test arrays. The test arrays are a powerful three dimensional object array in which parameter and result objects are placed. The tutorial runs the test using while using a physical DAQ board.

This tutorial demonstrates how to create a sinusoidal output signal within a project. This project starts where the 0001 tutorial left off and adds a new multiple-input single-output (MISO) object to the existing project. The video show the insertion of a simple algorithm within MISO’s VSTA function can be used to control a PID’s setpoint, in order to generate a sinusoidal output signal.

This tutorial provides an overview of a bag tester automation project designed by HIATRONICS. The tester runs a bag inflation and burst test for testing the bust pressure of bags. The application uses the following methods and techniques:
- Asynchronous PID Rate Control
- Maximum Value Instrument Monitoring (for burst detection)
- Volume Integration Instrument Value
- HTML Parameter Setting
- Asynchronous Instruction Display
- Rapid Fill Pneumatic Circuit
